Moving On, Growing Up!

"All endings are also beginnings. We just don't know it at the time." - Mitch Albom

University of Perpetual Help System DALTA's 32nd Baccalaureate Mass and Pinning Ceremony yesterday, April 6. It was our much awaited day since we are now forever done with our Clinical duties as Student Nurses.
Our section was scheduled in the afternoon together with the 7 others. When I arrived in school together with my parents and brother, I was so happy to see my classmates, batchmates and friends all wearing our Gala uniforms! In the middle of our picture sessions (before the start of the programme), I was surprised when my adviser approached me and asked if I could sing the National Anthem for the Ceremony and also our University Hymn! I quickly agreed and Mrs. Mendoza, the Level II associate dean, prepped me up for the sequence of the program. I was just supposed to sing our Batch's song, Reach by Gloria Estefan since it was the only tasked assigned to me by our clinical coordinator. But either way, I was still happy to do all of the singing! haha!

Part I
-Entrance of Candidates for Graduation
-Baccalaureate Mass
-Inspiring homily. "Seldom will you find a profession as noble as Nursing." :D

Part II
-Pinning Ceremony
-National Anthem - Ms. Hannah Jean Zarsuelo (yey! that's me!)

Honored to have one of the members of the Board of Nursing as our Guest Speaker, Ms. Betty Meritt. She sent an important message for the future generation of Nurses. She said "If only each baranggay will have a nurse, no one will be unemployed!" She made me loved my profession even more! <3
Her talk was armed with years of experience and expertise. Hands down!

The afternoon was filled with exciting thrill and unspeakable joy in each student, parent and teachers that witnessed the event.

Here are some of the pictures that I took!
